What is Hajj?

Hajj is the best way for Muslims to make Holy Land Makkah al-Mukarramah & al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah in Saudi Arabia. More than three million people make Hajj every year.

In this form of Hajj, a guest arrives in Iram with the intention of making Hajj alone. He may offer animal sacrifices if he wishes but he is not obliged to do so. The pilgrim who makes this kind of Hajj is called Mufrid.

Hajj al-Qiran:

The pilgrim that makes Hajj al-Qiran makes Hajj and Umrah without hindering Hram.

Hajj al-Tamattu ':

Hajj al-Tamattu is the most common form of Hajj. The Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) made this Hajj. Hajj al-Tamattu is like Hajj al-Qiran. The big difference is that pedestrians need to change Iram after using Umrah.
