According to an authentic narrative and often accepted, Hajar al-Aswad was brought to Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) while he was building Ka'ba. Well, when Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) finished completing the Kaba, he noticed that there was a gap left. So he asked his son, Prophet Ismail (A.S), to search for an equal stone in the park. Prophet Ismail (A.S) searched but did not get any suitable target. When she returned to her dad, she saw that the boat was packed. When he asked the prophet Ibrahim (A.S) he revealed that the stone was brought to him by Angel Jibraeel (A.S) from heaven.
Ibn Abbas said that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
"When Black Stone came down from Paradise, it was whiter than milk, but the sins of Adam's sons made it dark." (Tirmidhi).
Why Muslims Kiss Hajr in Aswad:
As we make Tawaf, Muslims are required to surprise Hajar al-Aswad (or just contact or work on it). Rental does not mean that they respect the stone or pray. They do so only because they are the Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
There is an injustice between non-Muslims and the people who have returned to Islam that Muslims pray to It and the form of worship of idols. Harrat Umar (R.A) answered the matter. He said:
"I know that you are just worthless or hurtful. If I had not seen a prophet (PBUH) he did it, I would not have done it."
It describes the idea that the form of idolatry is a form of idolatry, is no longer available. The Muslims lie because the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did so.
